The Ontario Beach Park Program Committee is an all volunteer group that provides free family entertainment at Ontario Beach Park, Rochester, New York. They have been in existence since 1984. The committee sponsors The Spring and Fall Big Band Dance Series, Wegmans Concerts by the Shore, Annual Lakeside Winter Festival, Kite Flight and Romancing the River. Celebrate the Winter at the 33rd annual Lakeside Winter Celebration at Ontario Beach Park, Saturday Feb. 11 and Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017
Celebrate the Winter at the 33rd annual Lakeside Winter Celebration at Ontario Beach Park. This year, the celebration will feature a wide array of activities including the 7th Annual Lake Ontario Wine and Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, February 11 and then continue on Sunday, February 12 with the “Polar Plunge” at noon. Additionally, Charlotte area merchants will be offering specials and discounts all weekend. All events will be held at the Port of Rochester Terminal and Ontario Beach Park.
This event is organized by the all-volunteer Ontario Beach Park Program Committee and sponsored by the City of Rochester, Monroe County, Port of Charlotte Merchants Association, Charlotte Community Association and Wegmans.

Special Olympics New York has over 67,000 athletes training and competing year-round in 22 Olympics-style sports. Our athletes and their families or caregivers are NEVER CHARGED to participate! It costs $500 to support training and competition for one athlete for one sports season. Set your Plunge goal at $500 and you have sponsored an athlete for an entire season!

THE 2015 BIG BAND SERIES ENDED ON OCTOBER 28, 2015 WITH A HALLOWEEN BASH
Lakeside Winter Celebration 2015 was huge success!
The event was sponsored by the Ontario Beach Park Program CDommittee, along with Wegmans, County of Monroe and City of Rochester. Everyhone enjoyed the wagon rides, bounce slides, snow scuppture, chili challenge, wine tasting and fireworks. Many thanks to all the volunteers who made this such an enjoyable event.
